One thing. I found the lecture is brilliant..but if we interact with social media..don't we give permission for this data to be used..sold..etc.?
To an extent yes. It is critical that we opt out.
On the flip side it is coercive and deceptive to require users to authenticate via what amounts to a military grade intelligence apparatus.

I guess on Facebook they can extract that value and use it on the platform and that I believe you sign up for..reselling to 3rd party is a crime I believe.
