I downloaded/installed Bitcoin Core to my Win 11 laptop, and downloaded from the first block. I'm going to save up to buy either a start9 or a Raspberry Pi. I really like the idea of having my own messenger system for family comms, my own version of cloud storage, and I want to build/own my own lightning node. Soooo... Those are my goal. I have a couple of spare hard disks (HDD's) that I think I can donate to a Raspberry Pi or possibly to a Start9. I've heard good thing about Start9, but I've also used Raspberry Pi a little. I think it will come down to costs. We shall see!!!
