It’s always preferable to hold your own keys. That’s the whole point with ₿itcoin. You don’t need a bank or ETF.

People will say, but what about my 401k or IRA? Valid question, but there are ways to create self directed IRA’s where you hold your own keys.

Many more people will be rugged by paper ₿itcoin in the coming years. Don’t be one of them.

Thanks, I agree with that. I do hope though that decent bitcoin options happen inside 401k eventually. Spot ETFs already exist in some countries, I haven't heard of any sinking and taking the bitcoin. They're not like FTX, right?

We should do our very best to keep ₿itcoin in the hands of individuals, not centralized. That’s the main thing.
