Global adoption is less about non-tech savvy people having a good UX and more about militaries and governments stockpiling bitcoin.

As soon as they realize bitcoin is the key to achieving systemic and unhackable security of literally any computer network, were gonna see the god-candle of all god-candles and its game on.

Do you mind explaining how exactly Bitcoin if supposed to secure other computer networks?

I never really got that... And somehow Lowery didn't explain any details on that in the two interviews I've watched.

In section 5.8 of his thesis he proposes what he calls an electro-cyber dome security system. He describes it as a firewall-style API that requires all control actions to be tied to reusable proofs-of-work. Here's the PDF and you can read that section in detail.
