The meaning of our existence is not invented by ourselves, but rather detected.

To detect this inner calling, the meaning of our lives, requires both an embrace of solitude combined with the concentration needed to go deeply inwards into that solitude.

But are always on, always connected devices may interfere with these necessary conditions for finding one’s calling; the meaning of our lives, pulling us away from necessary inwardness.
