I really, REALLY need to get into writing more Go and Rust. Go is great for putting together "small" things (i.e. data routers; grabbing something from here and putting it there) and Rust for something bigger. There are Nostr projects I want to write, and nostr-ndk is pretty amazing.

This "Telegram situation" I had reminded me how much I want a great IM experience on Nostr. The tools are there, it can be done, so I want to do it. Same with file sharing; blossom is pretty good, combined with blasting metadata notes across nodes to offer servers to dynamically decide how much or what to keep and rehost and broadcast that...

Argh. Really still annoyed. XD But doing the IM stuff means I would have to...go...to...the...frontend o-o eep... frontent is scary.
