Raised bed polyculture: cucumber, favas, shiso, mizuna, buckwheat, onion, leek, cilantro, basil, tarwi, clary sage, and ganja (dawgs waltz x bubba from @csi_humboldt) filling out half of a 4x8 cedar box. Early crops provide shade, structure, and soil covering for subsequent plants. Takes some practice to figure out proper succession and organization, but I think it’s a way better use of space than trying to do rows in boxes.
