With all due respect, so-called sovereign citizens who play these tricks in court are just asking for trouble. While I believe in pointing out the failures and wrongdoings of the state, it's better to ignore their crapola by keeping shit to yourself and a small community, I think. There are entire divisions in major police departments devoted to tracking and harassing these folks who identify as "sovereign," and it's always going to be the law's word against theirs. Whether or not we are right as a matter of principle, does not matter to the state and her flying monkeys.

I don't have experience in courtroom antics such as this, but I do prefer to live by the rule of "never ask permission, and apologize later".
