Usability and discovery have always been an issue with Nostr clients. They're slowly getting better all of the time though. One thing everyone needs to realize is that Nostr is not a company, in fact, probably only a couple companies actually exist inside the Nostr ecosystem. Most clients are built by developers building things in their spare time. It's all very, very grassroots. They don't have design teams. They don't have project managers. They don't have usability and user experience testing. They're just hacking away at the core, technical layer. Usability and discovery are both afterthoughts for the most part. That's how most of 2023 went. 2024 will be different. We will tackle UX and discovery. We will make Nostr better for the average person. We will make Nostr less nerdy. We will win. Why? Because we fucking have to win. The alternatives are just too dystopian and freedom technology is the only way forward to make the world a better place. Good morning.
