Actually turns out all the languages i enabled which had no translations where counting towards the limit, we're good for now haha
yes ofc , if there no translations is no point to stay the current language. Are this price is only for the translations of that languages or include more features? because if is only for translations its too expensive i think..
Are there good FOSS alternatives?
Not sure, but would be happy to switch again if there is something which i can self host
Take a look at weblate. I've used it in the past and it worked quite well.
You might be better off buying a server (or three) and look into collocating with a data centre
