Watched Blue Velvet (1986), directed by David Lynch. A neo noir mystery thriller. It all starts with the discovery of a severed human ear. The main character starts an investigation which leads him to a twisted underworld. The movie explores corruption, a bit of eroticism and moral ambiguity. The plot is a bit slow paced but the movie is very enjoyable. The suburban satire is a nice touch. The photography is beautiful. 6.5/10 #nodereviews
