I hope this whole thing in Nashville is not a Faustian deal. From Xapo bank to Blackrock and its finance minions, now Trump and Musk. These are not our friends, they are the enemy. We will do well to remember that, or Bitcoin will be relegated to the same fate as the internet.

I’m disregarding all of it. I’m staying 2019 mindset forever. Stacking and running a node and using Bitcoin to save and for value transfer where possible.
✊🏼 that's the cypherpunk ethos. I wish the mainstage was used to get more people to run full nodes. But oh well. At least they are using lightning and btcpay servers to process payments.
This thing is a runaway train. A lot of this newfangled Bitcoin-fiat stuff is gross but it’s an open network and it’s reached critical mass. All we can do is stay true to the ethos and spirit of Bitcoin as humble plebs and try to look away clown world adoption and derivatives explode.
