I use coriander powder to make a Chicken Curry marinade.

3 tbsp cooking oil

1/3 cup of greek yoghurt

1 tbsp kashmiri chili powder

1 tbsp crushed garlic

1 tbsp crushed ginger

2 tsp coriander powder

2 tsp sweet paprika

1 tsp salt

2 tbsp Tandoori powder

Mix all of that up, and then stir in 800g of chicken thigh's sliced up. Marinade for at least 6hrs, ideally overnight, and viola. Epic curry ensues.
