An Israeli man has been arrested on charges of plotting the assassination of a local scientist, allegedly following orders from Iran. The accused, Vladimir Verhovsky, is said to have carried out tasks assigned by an individual known as "Eli" over the Telegram app, in exchange for financial compensation. The investigation revealed that Verhovsky had also gathered intelligence on a resident of Tel Aviv and had agreed to kill the scientist in exchange for $100,000.
