UPDATE: PLEBWORLD HAS EMERGED VICTORIOUS

It took me 3 or 4 attempts, doing things wrong, a few days of waiting for the blockchain to sync, fail, and sync again.. but I finally have #raspiblitz running in a VM on Proxmox. Connected to nostr:npub1xnf02f60r9v0e5kty33a404dm79zr7z2eepyrk5gsq3m7pwvsz2sazlpr5

Via Tailscale tunnel for maximum on-the-go zapability ⚡️ Thx @/rootzoll !

IDK why I never thought to virtualize raspiblitz.

I used in the first few releases so many years ago

It only got optimized for virtualization in the latest release!

I’m sure you could have done it before but maybe just not without some bonus tinkering. Anyway it’s working super good for me now on a Debian server. The only weird thing is with connecting to Zeus it shows that the CL-rest option is deprecated… not sure what they would drop that but it’s still working for now 🤷‍♂️

It’s what I’ll be tinkering with this weekend

Worth it af

I've been meaning to do this for years

Have many raspi's running #RaspiBlitz but need to virtualize some

Worth it! I’ve been virtualizing MyNodeBTC on proxmox for a couple years now as my primary node. Wanted to check out raspiblitz too so now have two nodes on the same machine.

Noice! I’m glad you used the hashtag. I was totally just looking up the Raspberry Pi 5 but I’m excited to know I can try this method right away on a spare machine. 😎

Haha glad you found it! Virtualizing is the shit. A little more involved with the initial set up but if you’re like me and have a bunch of different things you want to run then consolidating them onto one badass machine is the only way to go 🤖

Hell yeah

I will try this on my lab too.
