I've noticed the number of Nogs using the Friends+ feed is pretty small (only a few hundred while Nostrgram got 8,000 unique visitors in the last 24 hours).

**If you haven't tried Friends+ yet, use it!** It's everyone you follow *plus* everyone *they* follow. A web of trust, if you will. Far better than Global imo.
