I'm curios how Nostr will react when shitspreaders like Dotcom or that sleezy Ian Miles type twitter scums get here with their garbage.

I have to say for now I'm really surprised how beautiful this works: extremists and garbage characters are sent into the oblivion on Nostr.

It's like the hive mind and organic sharing work a lot better than censorship and company algos in creating an enjoyable healthy environment 🤷.

I think the lack of algorithms for them to game really hurts their business model. If I unfollow and mute, nothing Elon says or does puts them back into my feed.

As long as they aren't ever visible to me I don't feel compelled to go all "someone is wrong on the internet" on them. Then xitter would see my engagement and up their visibility. Repeat to a million views.

That negative feedback loop isn't just good for xitter upping page views. It is the business model of many thinkfluencers.

Think I'm wrong? How did Udi or layer2labs make out here compared to xitter?
