On June 9, 2025, a small and peaceful protest continued outside the ICE detention center in Portland's South Waterfront area, with protesters expressing solidarity with detained individuals and calling for due process and family unity.

Additionally, there have been reports of ICE arresting individuals outside immigration hearings, including a transgender asylum seeker from Mexico who was detained outside a Portland courtroom.
