AI and robotics will replace tasks moreso than jobs, but how many "jobs" today are comprised wholly of undesirable tasks that will soon be automatable?
These automations will thin out companies and other ventures, like governments, of the jobs that exist purely to do menial tasks and distribute welfare.
It will also disintermediate industries that act as chokepoints to services in order to extract rent and prey on populations, like healthcare and education.
Even as automation changes the nature of what ventures are considered valuable, it is clear that at least 50% of all meaningless work will be streamlined in the next 10-20 years.
Conveniently, the total population will begin to descend rapidly over that same time.
On the bright side, automation will flatten the economy of goods and services, making it 100s of times broader, by lowering the barrier to market for families and startups everywhere.
#Bitcoin will enable the transition from massive, centralized corporations, to a flourishing marketplace of small companies.
