I don't like the idea of ecash as a way to onboard people to Bitcoin because they aren't really using Bitcoin.
I do like the idea of ecash for funding a cashu mint, managing small zaps on Nostr and stacker.news and funding/withdrawing to my own node.
I will never on board to ecash or lightning
I go straight to on chain hodl. Lightning they can learn when they ready.

Ive been given my nephew on chain sats like $7 bucks at atime and never have they been locked. People need to be responsible and kearn how to consolidate. The problem in bitcoin is every wants their hand held.
We are 16 uears in and fees right now are 8 sat/vb ummmm its going to less in the future
