I think the best way forward is for the majority of the states in the United States to fully disassociate from the Federal Government, end all inflows of Federal money, end all outflows of state money to the Federal Government, 'nationalize' (by state) all Federal property military and otherwise, adopt the US Constitution with the Bill of Rights as is plus the 11th (with modifications), 13th, 19th (and a select few other) amendments and place each state's original constitution in a secondary "law of the state" placement and brace for the inevitable shitshow this would cause.
