I once had an Ethereum maxi as a coworker. He said that after meeting the devs at an ETH conference, he trusts that they know what they're doing. Also, #Bitcoin devs need to be trusted too.

Completely jumped over the fact that all Bitcoin upgrades are soft forks, so no trust needed there.

The mental hoops they need to make to justify their ETHness are ridiculous
