Yeah, I watched. He is being disingenuous in his argumentation. But, he knows that. One thing very early on in the interview he says the Knots camp is saying "Can't devs do something?"

This is an obvious mischaracterization because literally the devs are doing something about it that he doesn't like. The Knots devs are using filters and a limited OP_RETURN to "do something"

This is just one of many linguistic slight of hands he does. He is fairly charismatic so it may be difficult to catch if you just take him at his word.

To be fair, he has great takes on security and threat modeling. But as someone who does that as well, it's not far outside the realm of intuitive to those born after 1985. Cybersecurity has become the survivalist skill that has replaced the boyscout knot-tying merit badge. But as far as his takes on Knots vs. Core, it is way more obvious that he gives every benefit of the doubt to Core, while the Knots supporters are all naive little babies with no technical ability. Just not true, some Knots people are autistic too!
