But the issue is, even if you use it, the clients that haven't implemented the editing feature would show your earlier or pre-edited version.

So my recommendation is, don't edit your note/post if you can, or delete the note you want to edit and re-post that like how you would have made the change, until of course editing becomes a NIP and all the clients implement it.
