I think many looking for an excuse to let themselves off the hook. Socialism and Big Gov isn't gonna be there for these people. Folks with savings will exit into Bitcoin and leave them high and dry.

Exactly. Some people are committed ( subconsciously ) to talking themselves out of bitcoin.
Some because they missed it and are salty, some because they can't handle admitting they were wrong, and some because deep down they don't believe they deserve to win.
