Recent popular book titles about Bitcoin and those which make the case for sound money achieve that goal.

However, I think they miss the mark by implying that our current extractive monetary system arose by folly or by the failings of Keynesianism.

The system is not broken. It is operating exactly as the international banking cartel designed it.

Another shortcoming in at least one of the titles is that it states outright that the solution may arise through the policy decisions of benevolent, strong leaders in the countries affected by this institutionalized theft.

No man or woman will ever be permitted to rise to such a station without the blessing of- and pledging allegiance to the cartel.

We are indeed in the fourth turning. The financial system will fail violently, or over the course of a couple more decades of “kicking the can down the road”, and will be rebuilt.

If we are to exit the other side with citizens’ ability intact to conduct private, unfettered trade with one another, it’s going to be by routing AROUND what the politicians, banksters and big tech have in mind. Not from within the framework they permit or design.

I’m still convinced that Bitcoin will be a big part of the solution, and despite it being obvious that attempts to co-opt Bitcoin from within and attack it are happening right now, my conviction remains the same. But we are up against forces and their order-takers that will kill millions without hesitation, and throw countries into war against one another under false pretences in order to maintain their grasp on power.

I see the Balkanization of the States being an eventual outcome. Not unity under federal control.

Freedom tech, from the protocol level all the way down to the hardware it runs on, is going to have to be built “outside of the fence”. What good are digital freedom protocols if they are running on hardware that can be powered down remotely or barred from connecting to a network through software or through digital-ID-only enabled access to the internet?

I see the projects that are arising to address these vulnerabilities, and it gives me hope. I will likely be gone before the climactic final shitstorm ensues. But I do fear for my kids and their children.

What a time to be alive, to witness and be part of the exchange of ideas that will see us free.
