If I were having a literary dinner party (of Writers who are alive or dead), I would invite the following:

🇬🇧Neil Gaiman, 🇺🇸Toni Morrison, 🇺🇸Lorrie Moore, 🇳🇴Jo Nesbø, 🇨🇦Margaret Atwood, 🇨🇦L.M. Montgomery, 🇳🇬Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, 🇬🇧Zadie Smith, 🇩🇴🇺🇸Junot Diaz, 🇫🇷Anais Nin, 🇰🇷🇺🇸Chang-Rae Lee, 🇯🇵Haruki Murakami, 🇬🇧🏳️‍🌈E.M. Forster, 🇲🇽🇺🇸Sandra Cisneros,🇰🇷🇺🇸Paul Yoon, 🇸🇪Stieg Larsson, 🇫🇷Colette, 🇺🇸Adam Grant, 🇺🇸Henry David Thoreau, 🇺🇸Dave Eggers, 🇺🇸Mona Simpson, 🇯🇵🇺🇸Adrian Tomine, 🇮🇳🇺🇸Jhumpa Lahiri, 🇺🇸Claire Messud, 🇺🇸Craig Thompson, 🇺🇸J.J. Abrams, 🇮🇪Sally Rooney, and 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿Steven Moffat.

I personally know several of them, spoken to a lot more, and share mutual friends/people with several of the Writers.

Obvi, these are ALL people I LIKE, think are interesting, intelligent and talented cuz why the hell would I invite people I do NOT like or is boring to a dinner party?!
