We use OneDev, not Gitea.
gitea is nice but it has less collab tooling (it's very fast)
It took up less space than GitLab, so we were using it, before. But I'm getting used to OneDev.
Use GitLab, at work, and GitHub for Nostr stuff.
gitlab is based on ruby. the end.
