[Part 1... 5/5]
And finally, I arrived at the second-to-last song of the album, ‘Trip the Light Fantastic.’ It's a spiritual journey with Sanskrit mantras.
“Rhythm of space (Tick, tock)
Expansion of soul
A force beyond control #Bitcoin
Travelers in time searching for
The unknown
Ram, ram, ram, ram, ram, ram
Ram, ram, ram, ram, ram, ram
To comet across the blistering hue
Beyond the spaces of false and true
Away from a world we have riddled with scars
To be wholly free and amongst the stars”
Ram mantra is the royal road to attain spiritual perfection. It helps man overcome all fears and troubles in life. Ram mantra is a very big uniting factor. It leads to harmony and peace and promotes cooperation among family members, friends and the people in the society… Ram mantra also helps overcome debts and attain financial stability in the household…
Ram, ram, ram, ram, ram, ram
Ram, ram, ram, ram, ram, ram
What I find fascinating about this album/band is that they seem to produce comparable spiritual effects to those of Bitcoin. Fans are reporting feelings of hope and personal transformations for the better. What's also interesting is that the band's fastest-growing fan demographic is, by far, young women (aged 16-25), who are presumably on the opposite end of the political spectrum from many Bitcoiners. I believe this demonstrates a few things. First, that the idea of Bitcoin is resonating with people who are generally opposed to it and have been slow to adopt. Second, it highlights the power of music and its ability to spread ideas to a diverse audience on a global scale. Lastly, GVF demonstrates music's potential to heal divides and unify around a common idea.
“Feeling
Oh God, the feeling
We need some healing”
That concludes the introduction to The Battle at Garden’s Gate. However, keep in mind that this is just scratching the surface of the album, and there are still two more to uncover. I highly recommend listening to the full album in order with the lyrics and forming your own interpretations. Join me down the deep and mind-opening rabbit hole that is Greta Van Fleet.
