We'll always need a medium of exchange I guess. And it's different in the same way that Bitcoin is different. It's decentralised and the ledger is written by voluntary participants (you don't need to work out and earn more currency). As I said I don't even know or think a system like this will work. my question was more about the inflation. If inflation is fixed, nobody can change it and the cantillion effect doesn't exist because the money goes to the ones who do the proof of work, would you be okay with 2%? Considering that you yourself can get part of the 2% because you can voluntarily do the work.

And why not 20% inflation? Who decided that 2% are good enough?
