You still need to use email in today's world.

Yes but using it for insensitive material and business communications is best.

Save the sensitive & private for something designed for it that can run on any ports and any networks without issue.

Something without all the baggage that is going to cause you problems.

Of course that means you need a clear idea in your head of what matters & what does not, what should be in the clear & what shouldn't.

They only gave the guy’s backup email which he used his Apple Account email. They tracked with Apple.

He could have used a burner email adress, he got it coming for him.

He could have been using GrapheneOS and they wouldn’t have tracked him…
