I don’t recall ever buying a pen or pencil. How did this happen?

I’ve heard the whole “how do you make a pencil” to convey the complexities of our modern world and global supply chains.

Only problem is once they figure out how to make a bazillion pencils, they have to keep selling them or the chain breaks… So. I have a shitload of pencils I don’t need and will never use.
