Nah, it’s just an old habit people developled when phones could only hold a charge for a relatively short period of time and took a long time to charge. Modern phones charge rapidly and hold charge for hours even with a partial state of charge. It’s just personal preference to want to keep it near 100% all the time. 🤷‍♂️
