I chatted with it, and tried to do some light research. I was unimpressed. Felt similar to the existing models.

I guess the jaw dropping improvement is really more on the development costs side for now.

You did enable the search and deepseek(r1) buttons at the bottom? It was off by default for me.

Hmm, I used it via the Venice.ai frontend. It uses the DeepSeek R1 70B. But it's not having the Search.

Thanks. I suppose the lower cost of a similar standard to current models is huge for business, but not for the advancement of the space. More the accessibility of the space to all. Not good news for AI developers in US as margins massively undercut
