Partially true. I met people nearby Breslau recently with a nice Porsche with Frankfurt License plate. I thought I am saying hello to Germans, however in fact they were polish migrants who build a nice house in the Polish countryside with Mountain view. Thy will leave Germany upon retirement. They did not like it In Hesse anymore anyway with all the stuff going on in Germoney and migration. I kind of like the Poles with the hard working attitude.
