Working in Zambia, Zimbabwe and South Africa comes with challenges like daily load shedding. That means there is no electricity as there is not enough production to cover the demand. In South Africa there is an app that announces times without electricity, at least you can plan. Not in Zambia and Zimbabwe, here you never know when it comes or for how long. Even if you have solar since batteries are expensive many houses only have electricity for a couple of hours. If itโ€™s a rainy day even less. So we turn off the fridge and use solar lamps. Whenever power comes we immediately start charging all devices. When electricity goes often the internet dies down too. And you never know when. Quite challenging.

A reality we in developed countries still underestimate. Living in ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ฟ I experienced the same. Frequent outages without prior notice. Energy is life and fundamental to development. Thanks for sharing ๐Ÿ’œ
