I used to smoke buds and hash in the pipe, and after buying a new one cause the previous just became "uncleanable", I had to find something else. Man, I don't regret to switch with the mighty. Full buds in, taste so good and the high is so smooth.
How does it hold up in terms of cleaning that device?
With a little brush to remove leftover, there is no combustion happening. The weed is baked, like in a conduction oven.
There is barely any maintenance. Perhaps once the year to disassemble and brush off the air conduit.
I used to use one of the cheap Chinese vape boxes in college and it would still fill up with resin in the mouth tube after so long so I've not really given it all much of a shot. The way my lungs are these days from the ole bong should probably reconsider.
What do you use for cleaning? I'm impressed how clean your corners are. Mine never clear out.
Alcohol and salt
I shake it shake it shake it the salt acts like a brush because it doesn't dissolve in the alcohol.

Run hot hot water on it as you shaking it. I shake a little run a little hot water on the outside of the bong then i shake it then run a little hot water over it shake it. Hahaha finger tips 🤣 get it but nothing like clean glass. 😅
I'll have to give the hot water a go or might just try torching it for a second to get some heat there. That's a good idea on the added heat to loosen things up.
