I live in a smaller city, around 100k pop. Our downtown is filled with them. Hard drugs were decriminalized in Canada a few years back, and the results haven't been great IMHO.

Liberal bleeding hearts are retarded. They went down the "safe supply & decriminalized" path, rather than the "actually help people with their addictions" path.

Sounds like they gave up on the current addicted population and are focusing on preventing new addicts. Government always ruins things.

Nah if anything it made for more addicted people. 5 years ago there were none, our downtown was nice. Now it's a shithole with homeless addicts in every park. It's quite sad.
