Great conversation, like many before. Keep up the good work!

I actually would like to get a NIP05 identifier on nostr.com. But it seems I can only pay with Lightning. I‘m not onboard with Bitcoin yet. So, could you please recommend a Lightning app to start with? Or maybe share some kind of beginners guide?

Nostr and Bitcoin are closely connected, so you should start to get onboard with Bitcoin for the best experience of Nostr. The simplest lightning app is 'wallet of satoshi'. You can download from the app store and get started immediately. You can buy a little BTC in the app, then pay the lightning invoice from nostr.com with the QR scanner in the app. Let me know how you get on.

Thanks for your advise.

Unfortunately, direct purchase in the app is unavailable for iOS. Now I try to get onboard an exchange and this seems to take some time due to crazy regulations.
