Hmm. If you attended any conference you’d probably know a lot of people by name irl

Yes, I know that. I mean the vast majority of pubkeys will never go to a conference.

setup other npubs for other roles. those who posted selfie didn't matter much. pretty easy to dig outside nostr now days

I don't feel comfortable using multiple pubkeys. I have my pubkey with my real name around, but I have never really used it.

that's fine - well there many reasons to multiple npub for other different reasons testing or using from insure device or any other purpose than we are discussing. some people just happy reveal all info anyway so no big deal to know who they are. in fact there many indirect ways co-relate npub to someone u meet.

Remain pseudonymous and avoid conferences imo. There is no benefit to doxxing yourself and to me the conferences seem to be a big waste of money. Stack the sats instead and watch the stream on YouTube if you want.

I’m personally bored of all the Bitcoin talks. I’ve heard it all. I hit a saturation point awhile back.

Interesting point of view. Personally, keeping Quentin is an effort for me not to "mix" my two lives, everything would be easier if I only had one identity

That’s fair. Just my opinion but I understand those who want to establish who they are on Nostr too.

Makes it a more of a viable alternative to Facebook and/or instagram where you can point friends / family to have interactions free from Big Tech™️ surveillance.
