Watched all the money in the world (2017), a crime thriller directed by Ridley Scott. It’s a fictional take on the 1973 real life kidnapping of John Paul Getti III, the grandson of billionaire oil magnate John Paul Getti. When the kidnappers ask for a ransom, the grandfather refuses to be since he thinks it will entice more abductions. We follow the boy’s mother, as she desperately tries to get her son released. One of the most boring movies I’ve seen lately. What’s not boring about it is the Kevin Spacey controversy. He was initially playing the oil tycoon. During post-production in 2017, there were multiple allegations of inappropriate behaviour against him. Ridley Scott was afraid of having his movie shunned, he decided to reshoot all the scenes with Kevin Spacey. With only 6 weeks before the theatrical release. Probably why it was terrible. 4.5/10 #nodereviews
