The reality is is that #bitcoin is difficult to transact w/ if it is not through a custodial entity. The UX is poor, which is a price to pay for security.

But i think that people will choose the path of least resistance with seemingly enough security & trust.

Utility of the mediums of exchange, the size of the network, & the cost to use that network will all determine adoption/usage.
