In the UK the government has an approval rating of less than 20%.

Imagine something similar happening between the UK (representing Hamas) and the US (representing Israel).

Do you think every person in the UK deserves to die even though 50% didn’t vote for that government and 80% now don’t approve of them?

Once Hamas we’re in power how easy do you think it would have been for the Palestinians to remove them if they wanted to? I suspect not very.

What about the children who were not even born when Hamas was voted in? Are they also complicit and deserve to die.

All of this is not even touching on the fact that Isreal was land taken from the Palestinians without their consent.

They don’t “deserve to die”. It’s difficult for the western mind to comprehend what belief in martyrdom actually means, but it is the reason that suicide bombers are almost always of the same religion. Christians don’t do that, generally. Hamas, and their Iranian jihadist backers, engineered Gaza to maximize the number of martyrs after they started the war with Israel. It is why, when Israel warns the Palestinians to leave an area before bombing, Hamas shoots at them. It is why they hide under playgrounds, hospitals, and schools. When they say, “we love death more than you love life”, they mean it. They know that when Israel attacks, and civilians die, they win on two fronts: more martyrs in paradise (which is much better than this world), and they can use the death and destruction as a PR tool in their sympathy campaign to raise money and turn the world against Israel, gain power and influence, and spread their awful religion.

What would you do, to fight an enemy that wants to die, wants it’s people to die, and wants to rape, torture, and kill you and all of your countrymen? What would your solution to jihadism be, if you were surrounded by them, taking rocket attacks and suicide bombers, as Israel is?

Don’t get me wrong when you read this, I absolutely condemn what Hamas did and has been doing for a long time. But it’s also possible, at the same time, to see that what Isreal is doing and has been doing for a long time is also not right.

What I’m hearing you say is that it’s justified for all of the Palestinians to be killed because that’s the only way to stop Hamas. So you’d be OK with all of your countrymen being wiped out if there were was a small percentage of the population acting as Hamas has been doing? You’d be OK with all of the non ‘Hamas’ people being hemmed in, bombed and starved to death?

Maybe, if Isreal hadn’t been pursuing and agenda of expansion since its inception the Islamist jihadists wouldn’t be such an issue…? After all Jews, Christians and Arabs have managed to live side by side in that part of the world before.

I’m not saying it’s “justified” per se. I’m saying it was intentionally created by Hamas/Iran/the jihadist movement. Their immediate aim is the annihilation of Israel. Their long term goal is global caliphate. They choose to sacrifice Palestinians, by creating a situation where Israel is faced with a “kill or be killed” scenario.

Suppose you were in command of Israel. The population is fed up with rockets hitting their homes and playgrounds where their children play. Oct. 7th was the last straw. They demand security. How do you neutralize the jihadist threat?

Not subjugating them and giving them their land back might be a good start.

You have to remember that this all started with the creation of the Israeli state without the consent of Palestinian people who were living there at the time.

The Jews had been living there just as long. Rehashing the past doesn’t change the facts today. ISIS and their ilk are ruthless terrorists who glorify death, and the Palestinians embraced that ideology, and elected a government whose core mission is genocide of the Jews. The diabolical plan they implemented, with participation and support of the population, has led to the current situation. Hamas kills their own people as much as they continue taking shots at Israelis. They are as evil as it gets, and yet they’ve managed to convince millions that Israel are the bad guys here.

Israel’s terms are reasonable, given what has happened: stop attacking and disarm. If they continue attacking, they will be destroyed. Hiding in residential buildings won’t save them. The leadership, ordering attacks from 5-star hotels in other countries, will not be spared. Jihadists waging war against Israel, and ultimately, western civilization, must be stopped. Their anti-semitic propaganda is just part of their strategy; don’t fall for it.
