I tested the zap split feature earlier and it didn't work, so at the end of the day I'm going to just split them manually anyway - that said, I think a permanent zap split option would be really cool - either public or private, but automatic, so you could donate half or a third or whatever of your zaps to a friend, good cause, relay operator, developer, artist or whatever without having to do anything.
