Good morning! Is your coop low to the ground? I’ve never found rabbits inside the coop, just in my run. Although, if you add chilli flakes to the feed that should solve the issue. Also having an automatic door has been such a great convenience! I’ve been using one for a little over a year now.
Good Sunday morning nostr friends, woke up to another gorgeous day with a temp of 64F. It'll warm up quite a bit later, but these 60's are amazing. Yesterday we went to go visit with friends about 30 mins away, and we had the best conversations and some amazing food. These friends care about what they eat, like us, and i can always tell when i eat good quality food. It feels me up without making me feel bloated or tired. And eating at their place, i felt neither of those things.
So we got home after dark, and we checked to make sure none of the rabbits had snuck in the chicken coops before the automatic doors closed. But everything was fine, so the experiment is working well so far.

Yes, the opening is low to the ground. And we are experimenting with letting the rabbits run free inside the main larger run. They dont seem to bother the chicken feed though, seems like they just like to hang out inside the coops sometimes.
I assumed these rabbits are wild? Or they’re your rabbits? My farm has an abundance of wild rabbits running rampant 😅 I don’t mind them though they’re cute and relatively harmless. I don’t yet have a garden though, I’ll likely change my opinion when I do.
