Very weird. It’s like the narrative that was pushed for justifying the ban has played on the right emotions and biases in many people. It’s been encouraging to hear some people in power speaking out but it all feels like too little too late. I think the majority of people, myself included, just thought there’s no way this ban would ever actually happen and then it did.
