Would love to have a solid quiet/clean setup and tap the ultra low rate plan TH offers, provided I could mitigate the peak hours on that plan.

Yea residential power is expensive and tricky. I mitigate my use of gas heat by running the miner (I have another one I turn on when it gets really cold at night in one of the crypto cloaks 3D printed cases) and earn a tiny subsidy of coin and pay a slightly higher electric bill.
I under clock the S9s down to 330 watts, and manually tune the fans to 5-7% power to consistently heat up the place. This is my third winter heating the house this way and I love it AND its quiet enough that my wife doesn't mind LoL

Nope! USA! If I were in Canada I would have already upgraded to the Loki S19 build from Pivotal Pleb Tech to deal with the temperature
