Só in conclusion I’m only familiar with their popular songs during the 80s.

A few years ago my friend told me about their most recent releases and it looked kinda like that. So I’m guessing they went pop and came back to their original style?

Yes, I think that’s how it went. And think they released a lot in the 80s, an album most years, so tried I bit of everything over that period…
