Hi kids! Introducing myself to the NOSTR world. I’m an Internal Medicine doc migrating my life to a BTC standard. Starting an independent practice this year (where we will accept BTC of course), and working with a team to decentralize IV fluid manufacturing to prevent shortages. Hoping to meet some likeminded plebs here humbling building a better world outside of the mainstream.

Take insurance? Medicare?

We will be a DPC (direct primary care) practice, so annual flat fee with no insurance. We are in Virginia.

Nice. Hope others follow suit. My doc here in minnesota is 500 bucks for office visit. He’s nice, but for a half hour visit? Granted it isn’t all for him.

Kind of like magazine cover price. That’s the price they bill, insurance says this is what they can charge. About 100 less. And then insurance picks up a lot of it and I pay the co-pay. But it is still a lot. Good luck.
