When I rented, I could barely afford it then, even on dual incomes. Now I saw the place I used to live has doubled in rent. And I hear health insurance is stupid high too.

I haven’t moved since I was making half this much

Left the US to live in South East Asia a few months ago for this reason. Inflation is running rampant.

Well people that make around as much as I do buy new cars twice what I’d pay for in a new car. They pay high street retail for clothes, I buy for material quality. They go spend one month salary on a yearly vacation, I do 1/4 of it
